You are making me sick now... It cost me nearly £330 for just two 205/40 18" Run Flat tyres back in the Summer.....

Yes the wee 16"ers are much cheaper. Saying that £50 per tyre is a very good price. Still rather have my 17" rims:p

Good price that.

I paid £330 for 2 245/18 Goodyears on the coupe - that's with discount - they were listed as 180 per tyre.

Well thats them on, only done 5 miles but after 30 feet from the garage i could notice a significant difference in the ride quality.

Hopefully less traction control lights flashing on the dash too. :)

Happy now, skint but happy.

You will need one if you get a puncture...whereas if you had kept your runflats...you would get home.;)

Its OK...I'm pulling your leg...don't get upset.

Oh i get it now.

But seriously, you can buy a tin of tyre weld and fill the tyres with that, its should get me home just the same.

Saying that i have driven about 500,000 miles and owned 20 vehicles over the past 18 years and had 10 punctures. 1 every 50k miles.

Forgive me if i dont loose any sleep over it. :p

I'm the same...first vehicle i have driven with runflats in over 20 years of driving...and my other vehicles don't have runflats. I agree they are bumpy....but this is the vehicle I drive at highish speeds...and the RF's could be preferable in a blow out IMHO.

The Gunk Stuff doesn't work everytime....as some on here will testify.

Have you looked at this stuff:

Hope this helps
