Just thought i would spread the good news,

I picked up my mini last week, the car was from a dealer (non franchise) and was nearly 5k miles over due its 25k service. Also i never had its brake fluid change.

The car was still under TLC but i wa told that because it was not within the 1000 miles either way that BMW would not service it. THis was from both a few members on various forums and BMW themselves.

Fair enought, but me being me (i.e. a tight git) thought i will see.

Anyway i negoitiated some more discount from the car due to service requirements and took the gamble that i wouldnt have to pay for it.

Fairbairns Giffnock came up trumphs, NO ISSUES with the mileage, job done Ins1 + brake fluide change.

So i will be getting the TLC next year before the INS2 is due.

:D

Renewing it before Ins2 service is due. Somthing i would not be able to do if they did not honour the existing TLC
