wheel & tyre package

finally wore down my run flats, 5000 miles on the front, nae bad a :eek: fooking hated them:mad:

now want a good wheel 17/18 with sticky tyres 888's, anybody tried the packages out there?

looking to track the car, so the lighter the wheel & grippy tyres needed :D

My brother used to run Dunlop Super Sport racing tyres for track days on his GT3... might be worth looking to see if you get them, they were cheap, very sticky and road legal (just).

... though they were scary if there was any rain on the road. He had 2 sets of wheels and swapped to Michelin Pilot Sports for winter. We ended up wiring in a adjustable traction control system so he could more safely make to to / from the tracks themselves...and dumb it right down for when on track.

I just bought a set of 17" Ultraleggeras c/w Toyo's for £960........................unfortunately not the 888's but they will be the next mod..............after my new head is fitted in a couple of weeks :D !

Sorry..........back to the 888's I've heard from someone on Mini2 that they are the bees ba's!!

cant get them in 205/40/18's :confused: have to get the run flats off soon, not much rubber left on them after 5000 fun miles:D

Nope nae hair...........just highly polished!

gave up in the end waiting on dealers & so called specialist's to come back to me, so just bought new ps2's and cans of goo.:eek:
