am way to take my 17s off for the winter and am gna b replacing the tyres with something a bit grippier was thinking of either toyo proxes uniroyal rainsports or yokohama paradas but thought i would ask for some advice first which tyre do you think would b best?

take it there not very good then the 1s i have atm are budget tyres that came with the wheels and they really are useless in the wet and are really noisy

the paradas will be even worse in the wet... just ask Nenah or MarkyC.. ;)
I have had the Proxes on my 18"s and have no complaints:)

Toyo Proxies all the way, i've had Parada's before, worse than ruflats :eek:

what about eagle f1s would they b better and worth paying more for?think i'll either go 4 toyo t1 s or eagle f1s

Eagle F1's just won the tyre of the year thing on evo Magazine... So I think they would be worth the extra.

apart from my experience Fergus where all 4 eagle f1's delaminated (which if you don't know means the tyre was basically peeling apart)...:eek:
they do use them on all the fast cars at my work and they swear by them.. ;)

Had eagles on my Mini and loved them to bits, such a good tyre.
Would have put them on the RX8 had it not been for the Bridgestone RE-01R's tempting me away :p they wear pretty quick to eagles will be next :p LOL!

My personal choice is generally Michelin Pilot Sports.... partially as they last for ages....
