Hi there, live in Fife and am going to be looking for a Cooper S shortly, so thought l'ld join up and see if there are any tips to be had, and things to watch out for, when looking for a pre-owned one. Been in to VW's for a long time now, but always wanted a Mini since they came out, so thought l would see if l can stretch to one at the moment. Already have reg plate on retention ready for it -X300PER- my mate has graphic business and has plate set up making the "3" like a backward C, also have a part time business selling VW, Audi accessories as well as KW suspension, BBS, Recaro, and just started selling bodykits from an Austrian manufacturere called Konigseder. So look forward to being on here, and hope to get a car soon,
Cheers Paul

Because that would be commercial posting, which isn't allowed without permission.;)

Cheers for the welcome guys, gonna try and look for an early clean one, as my plan is to tune and mod it, change suspension, wheels etc, but don't worry no gonna be chaved up, like to give it a nice clean look with a race feel, be a waste doing that to a new car as well as a waste of money :D
cheers Paul

Dont worry, l'll no do that m8, dont want to upset anyone  . It's just run as a hobby to pay for a wee extras for the autos, and l'm always very much cheaper than others as l dont have any overheads. Whats involved in sponsoring? Can you let me know and l could be interested. Oh, cheers for the welcome folks :D
