Not long returned to mini ownership (well convinced my other half to get one) but have recently discovered puddles of water under the car. They seem to be to the drivers side level with the front wheel. Any suggestions?? Or should I just get it booked in.

Cheers

Niall

could be moisture from the a/c?

If the washer fluid is full up it spills out when you brake, AC drian or its knackered:D

Stupid question maybe, but was it there when you parked up? Was it raining?

Otherwise, I'd go with GAJ's suggestion, A/C condensation drop off.

It was dry when we parked. Tried to check yesterday but it rained. Will turn off the ac and see. I assume that it is not serious.

Thanks

If it is just the AC dripping after a run in the car that is common and not serious.

Wee brother, you should have known that a puddle is likely air con :-)

My 3 usually has a puddle under it after a run, it's just the air con water (smell it, you'll see).

You don't use your air con constantly though. Plus, your RX8 eats so much oil your too busy under the bonnet, not under the car!

the air con drain hose exits on the right hand rear side of the subframe... i.e. exactly where you mentioned so in all likelihood it is just as everyone has said
