Stoney its for the racers;) I was talking to John at the last Knockhill races and he knew someone who bought this stuff for his cooper challenge car at Brands Hatch (garage outside the circuit was selling it:D ) and then proceeded to blow all the other mini's away:eek: He was accused of cheating but in accordance with the rules he was using 'forecourt' pertol. I know a lot of the bike racers use this stuff. It was called 'avgas' When you followed close to the back of someone using it the exhaust would melt your visor it was that potent:eek: :D

Silly price, but if your car is set up to use the extra octane then it'll make a big difference. My car is set up to use 98 or above, I had to put some 95 in as a last result. God, it killed the power.

Ive noticed a drop in power since i stopped using V-power as the garage in Cumbernauld that sells it always has faulty pumps and long Q's. We were using Tesco 98 octane but that was also out last week and had to take 95, just doesnt feel the same. Suppose its like your body , if you fill it full of rubbish food then you dont get good performane but fill your gut full of fruit and vedg then your full of sprite.:)

The cars been running on 99 for couple of tanks, feels much quicker now.

I had a drag against a Clio 172 away from lights on a dual carriage way, a couple of weeks back. Nothing between the two cars, however now I reckon I'll be getting the full 177bhp that the engine is supposed to produce a would a fair bit quicker.
