Fi, try the A1 instead of the M1 - more roundabouts and slower speeds, but preferable to the M1 on a Friday. At least you'll be moving most of the time.

10 hours it took to get home. Left at 2.00pm decided to go all the round to the M40 as Sally traffic was saying the M1 was at a stand still. The M25 wisnae much better.:mad:
