Sure was, the car we had was converted to a slightly longer wheelbase and had 4 Webber 48 carbs and some serious power.

Reminds me of the "old days" when I drove a Triumph Spitfire 1500. The girls loved it!!!:D

Those V8's were in everything at the time. Rover must have made thousands of them!

John, I think I can rember around the same era ...a guy had the V8 engine in a Morris and used to rally it out of ****enzie ?? ...mmmm wont let me type coq !!!
