While my 's' is getting repaired after the deer incident,i had a wee brainstorm which i think might be pretty nice.....but i thought i would put it to the members on here to guage opinions.
my 's' is dark silver with a shiny black roof,so to keep it subtle and not 'in yer face' i thought about putting a matt black cheque on the roof. big squares.thought it would be in keeping with the cars dark looks. Do we think this would work? or forget it? Has it been done before or am i a pioneer?
I have already spoken to Carlo at mini designs and he told me it would be no problem and quoted me a great price.
Opinions please!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s would love an aero kit if anybody has any leads?

Muchos Gracias.

Think that would look very cool .

As you say, very subtle but at the same time a little bit different. Go for it, in my opinion...

Matt black checks on black roof? Personally, i think its one of those that in theory sounds good but if done, it wouldn't actually look all that great.

I'd consider something like dark silver metalic effect on the roof or black checks/stripe/design on bonnet etc

Not convinced that would look right. Difficult to see it without seeing it. Not sure it would be as subtle as you think. Probably better with a complete contrast, with dark silver checks like Sweeney suggests. And remember... he said it first so if you go with that idea and it looks pants it's all his fault.;)

A.:D

I think the matt black/shiney black squares idea would work. Not too big squares though. Especially the way it would capture different light reflections. In Bonnie Scotlands case you wouldn't notice the differnce under the dust, muck, flith, stour, dirt etc etc.:D :D

Cheers for the opinions and aerokit leads peeps.Think i'm gonna go with it. Had thought about body coloured too but this is just that wee bit different!:D
Aerojonny-checked out that site before and it seems like a pretty good deal. Will see what the funds are like once i've paid my excess because i really like that kit.
If anyone knows of one cheaper please let me know.;)

One more question. Why is the dark silver aerokit more expensive than the other colours? just my luck!!!!
