Which movie is best?

1969 has some great movie lines... "You were only supposed to blow....", and the ultimate classic car.

2003 has Charlize Theron (drool) and the ultimate classic car reborn.

I always thought they ran out of money on the 1969....since the film seemed to drag...then finish oh so quickly.

I believe they had alternate endings for the film. I think they chose the wrong one:eek: It all "gels" for me...except the end.

Saying that...the cars chases for their time where great!

I do like the new film, even though I can't stand Theron and some of the personal views she has made public.

Still can't make my mind up which films is better though...they are too different.

Her acting was amazing in that film. Played the part very well. IMHO.

Its Gotta Be the 2003 Version. Its got the new Bmw MCS as well as the Brilliant wee Original Mini.

I agree with Vintageb3, the ending of 1969 was Abrupt & a Totally Crap Ending.

The 1969 version was more Relaxed & Comical than the 2003 version, which had more serious & emotional Nature.

I've Played the 2003 version many times, BRILLIANT!

Could not be ar5ed reading all the replies but I liked both movies because I'm a mini/MINI person but in reality the original was a crap movie as movies go but all mini people love it so what does it matter??:D

Tend to agree with John on this one.

Much prefer the "polished" look of the 2003 version. And the growl/whine from those supercharges. Yummmmmmmmmmmmm.
