Whether or not it looks good or not...these bits are plastic for a reason...

Other here will disagree....

Ask weefossey about the stone chips on his arches...

Maybe its easier to treat the plastic?

All you need to do is coat them with peanut oil...leave for a few days...wash off with HOT water and Fairy liquid. Then coat them with Autoglim Bumper care.

Use Craig's tip...and use a speed wax (I use Meguiers speed detailer) and go over the paintwork and black bits too.

I don't think its too easy to keep...and only have to look at doing the Autoglim every 4-6 weeks.

I think its nice to see a bit of a contrast...but hey!...I have a black car

:)

Can I be the first? Please? Can I?

Ok. I will do.

Disagree Mark. Our Hyper blue had very little trouble with stone chips on the arches. Had lots of problems on the front bumper, but that was the silver bumper we bought from Scottiecoop, and was colour coded by "a dealer", and we were never happy with the final job.

Otherwise, we didn't have any trouble with our arches, front or back.:D

I had my old red cooper colour coded red. I had the bodyshop that did my arches to put scotch gaurd film over the paint on the areas likely to get stonechipped.

Place called TMG in Paisley. Might be false economy if you're in Aberdeen;)

i thought the price was good, its being done by one of my dads mates who owns a bodyshop, he sprayed my last car so i am not to worried about him ruining it :)

opinions?

i went for everything red!..

i got the following sprayed:

arches
bootstrip
side skirts
front are rear lips ( or whatever you want to call them)
full mirrors
plus i got my rear bumper resprayed after someone reversed into it in the street

Looks like you got a good job.. IMHO there is a bit toooo much red. I think you need something to break it up a bit, maybe some graphics? bonnet stripes or vipers?

It will be MUCH easier to keep clean tho... :D

Gismo

Nice one  looks ok to me, not so sure you should be washing it so quickly since it's just out the body shop, the paint will need a few days to cure etc
As Craig says though, maybe some graphice to enhance it :)

i never jetted it or that, i asked him and he said i could wash it if i want, i just hosed it down, as it had alot of bodyshop dust..

i like it all red.. not really a fan of graphics, maybe ive just not found one i like?
