I just want to say hi to everyone on the forum. I've bought a new (to me) R56 MCS which I've had for 2 weeks now. Which I absolutly fell in love with at the test drive and spent my pennies. Had a cooper for 2 years previous to that. I've posted a pic of my car, there are NO prizes for telling me you know the car. I know you know :confused: Anyway, enjoying your forum now and hopefully in the future.

I know theres no prizes but thats one of the minis a member of this site had (scottiecoop) ;) She looks after them very well, its a good buy!

I dont think that car had any hi-fi upgrade in it.
Im sure Fi had the mini factory hi-fi upgrade in the yellow car and Mikeymini upgrade in the oxygen blue car (which is now fitted in my car). :D

P.S nice car you have there. Does it still have the fancy JCW seats in it.

Thanks for the good comments. I got the JCW seats taken out, now has full black leather. IMO the JCW seats were for looking at, not comfortable at all!

Nope, i bought it from Harry Fairbairn, same car you would see. Traded in my IB Cooper

He got it from Harry Fairbairn in Irvine unless I'm very much mistaken. Both are owned by Arnold Clark.

I posted that the car was down there ages ago...i thought you might have read that post;)

I agree the JCW seats are good to look at, but not very comfy (as they aren't big bum shaped..;) ) And the fact you can't adjust them easily for 2 people sharing the car..

Hope the dealer has looked after you with all the "Quality Control Checks" :)
