Has anyone else noticed how many cars are going about with TN07 plates? There's too many different makes of car to come from the one garage, and when I googled it, it says that the Tx prefix series are reserved, and not issued to an area.
Hmm... maybe a bit sad that I noticed this, but it's confusing me!

Yeah, I noticed a lot of them too, so you're not the only saddo out there!
ISTR there were problems at some of the DVLA offices in the Central Belt, so maybe they've shunted the work to another centre to deal with the work, though I could be wrong.

Yes I posted up about this a couple of months ago. According to my mate who is a dealer principle at a garage in the Borders, The Edinburgh DVLA office which deals with Lothians, Central Belt, Borders and Edinburgh has become so back logged that the applications were going to another region and so a new prefix was issued.
My Dad picked up his new TT on saturday from Edinburgh Audi and it has a 'TN' number. We were a bit dissapointed as his last TT was a prefix 'SK' and his name is Stuart King.

And here is the real reason behind the T plates issued.

Duncan, you just beat me to posting that article.;)
But here's the thing.... Lenore and I had a car that had the Reggie SN02 OTL. We used to call it Snottottle - in a weird affectionate kind of way.
And I also think this is more PC going mad. Who in the world would be offended at a car with the Reggie SN07? For crying out loud. :shakeshead:
