Our MINI has gone

to get a new fuel pump fitted, on Saturday we started to smell V-power coming in from the air vents which steadily got worse so we phoned BMW assistance today who told us to take it to Menzies after checking the car over. We got a crappy Ford Fiesta as a hire car until its fixed!! Hopefully we will get a call tomorrow to receive a better hire car.
On top of that we are getting 4 new wheels as the ones on it are starting to blister round the valve hole.

sorry your having problems, checked the pump number on mine tonight and it would appear that mine falls into the same number range, so it's not if it goes faulty, but when.. :(

it's rather bizzare that our cars were over a month late in being delivered (oh no wait, MINI don't give us delivery dates, they are estimates..:rolleyes: ) because of "Additional Quality Control" for this please read fault fuel pumps, and they are faulty again :confused: :confused:

Hope you get it sorted soon and don't have a Fix Or Repair Daily for too long.. ;)
