Little unresponsive in low gears

Hiya guys n gals :) For the past few weeks my Cooper S (2003) has been a little chuggy when i accelerate:( . Its not a smooth acceleration almost as thought the car engine is cold 24/7. Was thinkin bout trying STP Injector Cleaner but i dunno.:confused: ....has anyone else had this problem? What you ya recommend?:confused: Thanks :D

Certainly wouldn't put any injector cleaner through the system, especially if the warranty is still intact.
What type of fuel have you been using??
Me Julie tells me teh Shell garage in Montrose is selling V Power for the same price as normal unleaded, would only ever use the good stuff.
Perhaps it needs a right good run, ie, hard acceleration, red line it through the gears :D

Is the car near to a service interval, in any case, get it to a dealer to have a looky ;)

Jackie had a similar problem with her car, I soon found the problem she'd forgotten to take the handbrake off.
