Anyone have trouble getting into reverse on a 2003 plate cooper?
Sometimes theres no hassles and others times its a nitemare!i think im getting better with it but its still a bit weird sometimes!
It might have been the woman driver (my mates wife) who owned it before me :p
Eeether that am mince at driving lol

I think selecting reverse is a common issue, mine was a git. It didn't half crunch, the Brabus is the same though.

That should have been sorted right out. Murder - Especially when ure stuck in a tight spot facing downhill lol.

Try selecting first before reverse, not a cure, but, if it works..............;)

Seemingly its because the Mini gearbox doesn't have a synchromesh on reverse gear. You need to wait couple of seconds before selecting reverse or double depress the clutch :)8)

And yeah, on some cars it's a totaly pain. my '03 Cooper was ok..
occasionally get cruchy reverse in the '05 One.. I can live with it :D
