Hi folks,

Just cruising about on pistonheads when i found this Mini up for sale, must praise the guy for it being 100% one-off and 20" wheels & a Porsche exhaust...FIT! It is truely unique and has a lot of recognition that has stood by it over the years.:approve:

Although there has obviously been alot of work put into this there is no chance of getting your money back through modifications as im sure you all would gather. And to finish this thread...

18,000!

saw this car at Fast and Modified last year.... he has spent a lot of money on it, but for me it's just a show car, not one you would park in the street somewhere...

It's a car that lives in a garage and taken out for shows only. It's not a car you can really use and enjoying it everyday like my current Mini.

Each to their own.

The price will drop as he won't be able to sell it, I reckon £14k at most

I'll second that some muppet is bound to buy it, and agree 14k 'maybe' at the most

I would like it for a show car! but it has won all the awards already, surely theres no chance of getting them again

Still 85,000 miles in an early day Mini is pretty good. Didn't know many were reliable enough to do 85 miles back then!

Not my thing, but Col is right, some muppet will buy it.

Is it just me, or would you expect someone that proud of their car to post a much better picture than a blurry camera phone pic?

i would have thought he would have laods of photos of the car, inside, underneath, under the bonnet - not one taken from across the room.. hhmmmm,

Modern MINI magazine did a feature on this a few months back.... It is way over the top for my liking.... I prefer the subtle look which the majority of us prefer, judging by some of cars shown on here....

it's bloody ugly imo and i saw it at knockhill on show and the fit and finish was decidedly lacking

if i had a mini, that was first generation BMW and number 2 to go on sale to the publc i'd keep it standard and locked in a garage.
