We all know we love our Minis but I think this guy is just a bit too extreme....

I rather go out on my Mini or my motorbike!

I hope the link works

Yeah, I read some of the other replies, thought they were class!

That kind of effort is probably worth it if you've bought some mega expensive piece of kit, but an Astra? In saying that, the end result is brilliant, and for the guy it's probably worth it for him to feel he has the shinest motor about. But 4 days before you can drive a brand new car just to shine it like that? sad....

Yeah, i read that thread last week (the same thread on a different forum) after I saw a thread with those two guys doing the same job on a Veyron (the one thrashed by top gear, where the paint was severely mucked up).. and the result was phenomenal. But that same effort on a VXR... just doesn't inspire the same response.

Apparently when you buy that Zymol Royale, it costs 7 grand or whatever, but you get "free refils" LOL... I'd bloody hope so. I mean that stuff is ok on Veyrons, Enzos, MC12 etc etc, where the cost of the was isn't nearly 50% of the car... but on an Astra... jeeeeeeezo!

I went out today and took some light and paint readings from our MINI and can I say its true what the guy said you do need to buff it out and then painstakingly apply several layers of different waxes and then go over it again with a fine ......... wait a feckin minute I’m bored listening to myself, Lesley I’m off to the Erskine bridge
AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, THUMP:blackeye:

Here's more of their handy work but this time on a half decent car :D :D

You must admit, this car is worth the effect.

as a car valeter i must say thefinish is very very good, but i see no point in expensive wax's when the car will still be subject to the same sh*te on the roads day in day out and will need re done. but i suppose if youve got the money..and no life..

each to their own, personally i would rather use my car than spend that long cleaning it

The 5 million quid car gets one coat of Royale glaze and the £3.99 one gets 4 coats, doesn't quite make sense
