LPG Conversions

A guy at work is thinking of converting his Ford Cougar to run on LPG. Are the grants still available to subsidise the conversion?

I think the government grants are finished now, im sure they stopped about 2 years ago.
However the government may take pity on the fact that he is driving a Cougar and they might have a wee whip round so that he can change the car.:p

They did stop the grants I didn't get one when I converted the Cooper. I would be careful converting Fords as they have very soft valve seats.
