I just fitted a PlayMini exhaust (TT style tailpipe) to my Cooper last week. :cool:

Yes, you need PMB03 & PMB02 (thro'pipe) or PMB01 (with silencer).
There was an article on the PlayMini exhausts in the MM mag couple of month ago.

I can send you the article if you like.

Yip, That's exactly the parts you want. Not the other thru pipe with the silencer ;) Far too quiet! :cool::D
As for the cost, I'd search around the Mini mags and web for the best price, Playmini don't like to sell direct to the public too much :blackeye:

THis link (http://www.med-engineering.co.uk/product_details.php?p_id=261&vlang_id=305) seems to be a pretty good price for the lot :D
MED are a very well known Tuner / Engine Guru company for the classic mini, only ever heard good things about them.. (unlike other companies around, who shall remain nameless ;))

Just to note I am not 100% sure on 'going-ahead' with this exhaust, just thinking about one and will definately be getting one in the near future.

If its a good deal though you never know;):D

It'll get a wee bit deeper, less tinny and should pop a bit more when you rev it like in the vid. Mine always pops in the way up between first and second :cool::D

Sometimes if pops a bit on the way down, but not all the time..

That would definitely help :cool::D
Since it's a One, it won't give you any more power. It might make the engine slightly more responsive, and it'll definitely make it sound better..:cool:

Playmini..... ye canny whack it!!!

My S version pops, bangs, rumbles and howls. I've noticed that when you start up from cold, it sounds 'lighter', but actually deepens as it warms up. I love it. Get yourself a Playmini Manifold/Sports Cat and frighten other road users!

Got to agree wit that.. that clip was after a blat (very sensible one cos the car was full of boxes!) up to the cottage.
I bet it sounded even better on the way back home! ;):D
