Is it just me or is the site running slow/not at all today?
Been getting a lot of ASP errors and sometimes it's taking 5 mins to load a page etc.
More server problems?
Anyone???

Very slow for me. It has been coming up with a time out message on the screen.
Has taken me 5 mins to get this far on the site. Was very slow last night as well.

Nothing to do with it. The sig's don't come from the NMS server. And it's the NMS server which is slow in loading even text pages from the database.:(

Does seem to be on a go slow - other sites hosted on the same server were also acting up, There's a note saying that they are conducting server maintenance and uers may experience a downturn in system performance. Nice of them to let me know!

Good thinking Bat man.;)
BTW, did you ever get round to changing service provider? Or do you still have a period to sun on contract with current provider?

Would be nice if you did keep your sigs to 468 x 60 - keeps things neat and there are still folks out there on dial-up ;)

Calum, (or anyone in the know).... do you know what editing programme to use to reduce the size of an animated gif,a nd still keep it's animated protocols? The C64 image is an animated gif.

I use either Fireworks or Adobe ImageReady, they break animated gifs into the individual frames when opened so resizing is a dawdle. Dure there'll be some cheap PC equivalent
