ive been hearing this on mini forums for years now
i believe it works, buuuut, is it any better than autoglym etc, or just a cheapskate alternative?

Yep Peanut butter!...Peanut = Groundnut
I just bought "Groundnut Oil" from Tescos...500ml for £0.68. Tried it on our VW Transporter bumpers...like new!!!!
I think you have to wash it off after leaving it on for a while...and then use a bumper protector
Easier to deal with than peanut butter...and bloody cheap!

I've also just read that white vinegar easily takes off Peanut butter...

Once you have done this, get yourself some wax that doesn't stain trim. Klasse All-in-One is a polish/sealant and P21S Carnauba wax are just the ticket.
