What are the pit falls of selling stuff on Ebay. I'm wanting to get shut of my projector but I haven't really got a lot of time, is Ebay easy to use.

Basically the costs, eBay will charge a fee (2-3% of winning bid), paypal will charge a fee too (3% i think). Also scammers you have to watch out for, but if you accept via paypal then it shouldn't be a problem, or cheque as long as you wait for funds to clear.

Paul, eBay also now has a fairly simple wizard which you can use to get your item listed. Like sh@z says as long as you accept PayPal as a payment method, you can't really go wrong.

I've sold a couple of things on eBay (nothing of much value) and even I got a couple of private messages asking me to send them the item, then they would pay me double the amount requested. Just ignored them.
