ive just checked out the miniclan website and this year its stirling to oban.i was on last years thistle run my first run infact and it was fantastic defo going to make this one this year:D

There's usually around 150 cars, it really depends on parking provision at the start and finish! :D

I'm not having as much to do with the organising this year either, but I'll try to let you all know when the entry forms are out, and how to get them.

It's an awesome run, and well worth doing! ;)

It was pointed out to me last year that "most" backiline guys (the guys that look after the instruments) are a funny breed. They don't ever get drunk...take drugs...are control freaks...make bad passengers...are into gadgets...drive fast cars and are always spending moeny on them.

The three of us standing there when told this just hung our heads:p

Until nearer the date...I won't know what the arrangements are...hope in one way I can get out of the drop off day....buts its usually a part of the job...and another days wage:D

We will see what transpires...

Well found out last night that the gear won't be getting dropped off...its staying in Glasgow because we have a gig on the Isle of Man the next week.

So....I may be able to get along to this now...but I won't get home until really late the night before...and I assume this will be an early rise?
