On Saturday as Crombers stated we gave his car a good going over as the body work hadn’t seen the day of light for decades:D, I’m sure once he figures out how to use the USB lead from his camera to the pc we will see pictures this side of Haley's comet coming round;)
He wanted me to pass on what we did to his car as he is well chuffed and we will shortly be starting up our own business (Laurel & Hardy valleting). He paid someone months ago who spent all day doing his car for £60 and we did a far superior job in less than 3 hours.

Washed with Meguires NXT car wash
Used Meguires Clay Bar
Meguires Stage 1 paint restorer
Meguires Stage 2 polish
2 coats of Meguires NXT wax
Mer on the windows, wheels and all chrome
Meguires Hot Tire shine on the tyre walls

after all that Im afraid poor Allan was ready for his bed (eh Britney)
Hit me baby one more time

Cheers mate & thanks again for Saturday, I'd never have remembered all that. Now need to purchase all this 'polish & wax' stuff in order to keep ma MINI in tip top nick. Don't get me wrong mind it has actually seen polish before (Autoglym) but that Megs stuff is the dogs, especially the nice smelly one :D

DUH! I knew that. I was making a reference to the fact that his car was always so covered in grime that it looked like dark silver. Sorry, was that not clear?:I:eek::blackeye::D;)

Besides, Duncan, what you say isn't entirely true. See this MINI2 thread. (http://www.mini2.com/forum/2nd-gen-exterior/136142-how-rare.html)
