Hi there - doesn't sound like anyone does......
I have THIS (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HONDA-CAR-AERIAL-ACCORD-CIVIC-CR-V-HR-V-S2000-NEW_W0QQitemZ120085888018QQihZ002QQcategoryZ36676Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) one fitted to my MINI and the reception is fine in the main - some areas it gets a bit crackly compared to the OEM one. Basically i think it'll be fine in cities etc but will likely lose the signal quicker out in the sticks.

mines the same as Wul's - looks better than the OEM one (imo) but like Wul said, does tend to loose the signal quicker

What he says... :D
Got the same one, but I bought a proper one from Honda. Never had any issues with it crackling or losing signal... mind you, I have CDs on 99% of the time :D:D
Got it for looks!
If you do go for the Honda one from a Dealer, make sure it's the Civic one, NOT a Type R. They're exactly the same except the Type R one costs nearly double. Money grabbin B'stards!

When you are in town's etc you will usually get away with no external aerial so the reception will be fine anyway. Like everyone says, the wee short ones can sometimes crackle if yer oot in the sticks
