R56 Ordered

Well I couldnt resist any more. I had been giving it some serious thought the last week or so but last night went and ordered a new car. Expected to get it 2nd week in March.
Went in to see Vicky at Eastern. We have had 5 cars at the Eastern now but we had never dealt with Vicky before. Must say we were very impressed with the deal we got and she is probobaly one of the most helpfull sales persons we have dealt with, as well as Clare obviously. We got a super deal particularly as it was her 1st sale as a NMS sponsor.

Anyway going for

Chrome interior
Anthracite head cloth
Multi-function wheel


Not a huge spec I know but its as far as the pennies will go and I rekon its all I really need.

Please tell us what made the deal so good? I went to Eastern too, but there trade in offer for my Golf wasn't enough for me to commit - the other sales person (Susan) was very nice and straight talking.

Their offer was way better than Dunedin, which, I have to say, was a total joke!!!

Yes I have always found Dunedin to be very mean with their trade in prices.
I just fealt that I was given a good trade in price and a good finance rate at Eastern and its only 15 mins away from home which is handy.

Tempted to go for the silver union jack that Menzies have.
What do you folks think I should do. Will it look good or not.

thing is though im not sure. Ive got the colour union jack on my red car at the moment. Had checks on 2 previous minis so not sure if I should go for something different or just leave it alone. Was thinking of mabe viper stripes in Dark silver on the roof and black on the body.

i would go for light grey vipers rather than two tone :I;)

Two tone would be hard to pull off, I've seen it look great and I've seen it look just ok. It would aldo be hard to match the dark silver for the roof as it's a metallic, so you'd need to be sure they can pull it off.
