has anyone got any experience of these tyres ?
reason I ask is that I am thinking about putting these on my 18's for the summer (as they have no tyres on at present due to my Goodyear incident):D They are less than £60 a tyre..!

Know nothing about the Federals although they sound good on mytyres.
after owning our Touareg tyres became a big thing with many many reviews and because of this we started using Hankooks now have them on both MINIs aswell wouldn't go past them now
very good tyre

thanks for the info Fi,
I can get a set of 17" tyres and a set of 18" tyres for just over £400 so I'm tempted, but only if they are any good...:D
the hankooks come out at nearly £100 more..

One of my mates had federal tyres and said they lasted forever. Not sure about how they grip tho.

ive got those federals, got them from www.camskill.co.uk next day delivery, i think £45!!! 205/45/17 had a few sets of tyres from them always very cheap and next day!
I reckon they are much better than the falkens I had before, and they look nice and sporty too!

My mate with a Civic Type-R rates Hankook tyres (the ones that look like Eagle F1), he gets them from mytyres.

Good hard wearing compound tyre ideal for summer use Craig I sell alot of them on Alloy wheel sets not the best at this time of year though.

Hi Craig
I've got these on my cooper on 's' spokes. Whizz up and down the A7, Stow - Newtongrange every day. Seem OK to me. Much better than the Pirelli runflats I used to have
Seem to have plenty of grip.

federal ditchfinders... utter crap in the wet but not bad in the dry, i suggest you try avon zz-3's £80 for 215/35zr18's as this is what i have on mine. only thing is theres a bit more tyre noise

the reason I ask is because the S version has been replaced by the R version and have heard lots of good reports on the S version, but none about the R version of Toyo Proxes..:D

I'm running the Toyo Rs on my Brabus at the moment, massive improvement over the standard michellin sport things. Masses of grip wet or dry
