Didn't we all agree that the next Mini Meats would be held in a more "central" location - like Edinburgh-ish. To try and attract some more "Eastern" members. Or am I imagining this? Probably imagining it, but it would be nice to venture more East for a change.

did we. I must have been absent from that conversation.:)

as long as it's this side of Edinburgh i.e. Grangemouth side I have no problems with that. Already travel 167 miles for a eat meet another few won't make that much difference.

Don't remember the specific conversation, probably just making it up. But it would be nice all the same.;):D:D Would agree with Grangemouth side of Edinburgh.;)

Didn't say it was local. Just more Central. Local to me would be the Vineries at Clovenfords. Or the Kingsknowes Hotel. MMMmmmmm. But I wouldn't dream of asking Jason to organise a Mini Meats there. It would be Lenore and I and Ian King and Sarah, Thats about it.

Ive never been to the Clovenfords, is it any good. Im just about to go to the Town House in Melrose for a wee business lunch. The Town House does a top notch steak sandwich at lunchtime.
