Was in Tesco shopping tonight and had to get some fuel. Thought I would have to buy some economy crap but to my surprise they are also selling premium fuel with a 99 octane rating at 90p/L. Mini seams to like it though only drove about 5 miles. Time will tell.

yes some of them do i as at one that did it in falkirk / grangmhouth but the one at dundee dose not have it !!

The Tesco extra at St Rollox (next to Costco) in Glasgow. Even better with the 5p off per litre fuel voucher thingy.

it can only be normal Unleaded with JUST octane booster added.

It will have none of the additives that V Power or Ultimate has.

So it won't look after your engine in the same way that V Power or Ultimate will.

I think when i used it was called something very original like "Tesco 99 Octane Super Unleaded".

I think it was called "Premium unleaded" then underneath that it said 99 Octane on the pump handle. Next to it was the regular unleaded and diesel pumps. I was surprised as BP I think is only 97.

my cooper wqas ok on it but dosent comapare to v power at all for those on here who work for bp are there any plans to sell the 102 stuff north of the boader as they sell iy near my mate down south

my car has never had anything bar shell optimax/vpower in it,runs like a dream:D
