Yippee MINI have finally got there fingers out there Ar**'s and delivered one of 'The Oxford 3'!!. Mr Corsars lovely Laser Blue S arrived today after weeks of torment at Oxford!! Looks as though someone got the short straw to drive ALL the way up to Scotland with it ( I mean its a long long way away is Jockland;)). Time will only tell when the other 2 will be released but if Terry Waite was anything to go by then it may be sometime;)

I take it that no new S's have been delivered yet? I'm eager to see how it differs from the supercharged old model.

Yes it's true my new baby arrived today - off the back off one of four transporters - that was delivering to Menzies today with both MINI and BMW :approve::approve: Didn't think I was going to see it until the New Year due to the problem getting drivers to deliver up here  but after some sterling detective work by Craigy boy (Thanks big fella ;)) I was pleasantly surprised to see it sitting in the compound :approve::D:D;)
I need to pop down and see Clare tomorrow to tie up a couple of things and if I mind I'll take my camera down and snap a few photies :I;)
All going well I should be able to collect it next weekend and a new Mini adventure will begin (Oh and I'll try and mind to take some pics of it when it's washed and polished) :D:cool::clown:;)

nope, mine is still awaiting a working fuel pump. No update as yet, so the wait continues...
Marks car wasn't affected by the fuel pump problem 'cos his went through the production line after they fixed the fault..;)

Your car was looking spanking today Mr C. And that's without the 3 bazillion coats of polish you're bound to apply before driving anywhere.

suspension blocks what are these marky plz explain
Craig
31st December 2006, 08:12 AM
they are installed for the transportation of your car from the factory to stop the car from "bottoming" out on the car transporter (to basically protect your suspension) They are taken out during the PDI so the car comes down a few inches...:D

Changed our R56 today again, phoned Clare today to have the bonnet stripes removed when the car arrives and have the new viper stripes put on, white on the bonnet and back with blue on the white roof, should be nice. Oh putting on stainless twin pipe covers on the exhaust (copying MrC but they look cool!, like a couple of pint glasses). Let the mods commence:)
