for the past few weeks ive been working on what should be a very good run round all the back roads of east lothian

date and route to follow but should be saturday the 9th june 2007 with the lunch stop being East Fortune museum of flight

like other Runs im going to run an attendance cap of 30 cars

also as i know form past runs if for any reson anyone needs to levae early most of the route although in the country is still reltivly close to the A720 dual carrige way

START AND FINSID POINTS TO BE ANNOUNCED ONCE IVE FINISED THE ROUTE IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS :D

actualy thats not a bad idea was going for one near macmerey but if we start at hermiston i can add in some brillaint roads that take us there missing most of the A1 out

ok will have hunt for a more facilitated start point but have driven a fair wack of the route this afternoon and even in the pissing wet itw as fun and some better even quiter roads have been found and added

saturday afternoon can be very busy there and spaces are quite tight !! Sorry, thats just from experience shopping there :(

might have finish at the place we have the lunch stop as i can change one bit of the route so we finish up there and its a quick pop up the road to the dual carrige way form there and it also means theres food at toilets at the finsih :D

not at all i welcome all advice and suggestions as its beem a while since i had a look at the venues all ive got in mid thus far is the roads and a vauge route but ive got plenty of time to sort it all

but when i get ma arse in gear and put the minis seats and trim back in i can do a proper reccy did a half route the run the other night in dads car

i was thinking some of us could have a loacl planning meet as we all know the roads and have a few good contacts between us :)

Angus, outdoor pool was tarmacked several years ago and is now a dingy park. That's the area where I may be able to get us parked up.

the run has expanded due to demand and i am going to include the 5 resrves as i only capped it at 25 wile planning :)for saftey but after a few reccys of parst of the route and now theres a few locals on board it can expand and will be capped at 30 :)

as far as I am concerned, the Run WILL BE ON, however I am waiting on the info from james before I creat a new Thread with the details given on this one.(so that I can look after it).

Hi folks! I’m just wondering whether this run is going ahead.
As this will be the first run I will able to attend after being a member of the site for over two years and owning my mini for as long.
I was hoping to take the dust cover off the wee guy and try and get past 6k before he is three at the end of the year. :)

Right, I have had a discussion with Malcolm (Weefossy) and although I really wanted to have this run, I (and Malcolm) are just not going to be able to fit it in...

JamesF has fallen off the radar and after numerous attempts to get his run notes, I still don't have them... With the weekends I have free between now and then there isn't enough time for myself and Malcolm to do a whole new route, recce nearer the time etc.

Sorry to all that were looking forward to this run.:(
