Ive got a crack in my windscreen and am going to get it replaced thru my insurance company. I thought id go to MINI to get it replaced (John Clarks Abdn) and was told they dont replace windscreens under insurance and would have to pay the bill myself and then claim the cost back from the insurance myself. This seems a bit of a carry on. Ive had windscreens changed in the past and just had to pay the boy the excess (about £50) and give hin my insurace details and got the windscreen replaced no problem, none of this fannyin about payin then claiming off insurance. Is it worth the bother or will i just go back to Scotglass or someone similar?
Is all MINI garages like this?
